The programme aims to foster social innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and problem-solving skills, empowering participants to develop solutions to challenges affecting their communities and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2026, UPSHIFT will be implemented in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, Batumi and Telavi, bringing together 150 young participants &#8211; 30 from each location.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UPSHIFT is a global UNICEF initiative that enables young people to identify social and environmental challenges, develop innovative solutions, and transform their ideas into projects with a positive social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme&#8217;s learning modules include:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list upshift-modules\">\n\n<li>\u10e1\u10dd\u10ea\u10d8\u10d0\u10da\u10e3\u10e0\u10d8 \u10d8\u10dc\u10dd\u10d5\u10d0\u10ea\u10d8\u10d4\u10d1\u10d8<\/li>\n\n\n<li>\u10d3\u10d8\u10d6\u10d0\u10d8\u10dc \u10d0\u10d6\u10e0\u10dd\u10d5\u10dc\u10d4\u10d1\u10d0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>\u10da\u10d8\u10d3\u10d4\u10e0\u10dd\u10d1\u10d0<\/li>\n\n\n<li>\u10de\u10e0\u10dd\u10d4\u10e5\u10e2\u10d4\u10d1\u10d8\u10e1 \u10db\u10d0\u10e0\u10d7\u10d5\u10d0<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A special focus of the 2026 edition is placed on climate change, environmental protection and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), encouraging participants to develop innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable development and climate resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UPSHIFT is a five-month intensive learning programme running from September 2026 to January 2027. The programme combines online learning with in-person workshops and activities, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme will conclude with a Demo Day, where participants will present their projects.
